Partners

Three local industrial partners and one partner research institute of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Freiburg lend their financial and non-material support to the PhD program: these are the companies Endress+Hauser (Maulburg), SICK AG (Waldkirch), MICRONAS AG (Freiburg), and the research institute HSG-IMIT (Villingen).

The support includes the provision of 20.000€/year per company for three years (MICRONAS AG currently ties this support to an improvement of the general business situation), the organisation and realisation of seminars and guided tours, and in particular also feedback considering the industrial relevance of embedded microsystems.
