Master of Science in Microsystems Engineering

The Department of Microsystems Engineering offers two Master of Science degree programs, designed for students with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in microsystems technology, electrical or mechanical engineering, physics or related fields.

The English-language MSc in Microsystems Engineering has been first offered in the fall of 2007 and is open to German and foreign students.

This Master's program, compatible with the Bologna reforms of European education, will give graduates advanced training in microsystems, allowing them to take research or management-level positions in industry or to continue with doctoral studies. The highly interdisciplinary curriculum, with a broad spectrum of electives, will provide graduates with a wide range of skills for succeeding in this dynamic and rapidly growing field.

    • EUR 500 tuition / semester

    • Admission requirements: BSc degree in engineering or science; excellent GPA; very good proficiency in English; high interest and self-motivation
