CPI at the IC-PSM 2008 in Busan, Korea
Busan, the second largest city of South Korea was host to a bundle of conferences that aimed a deeper collaboration between polymer scientist in Germany and Korea. IC-PSM stands for "International Conference on Advanced Functional Polymers and Self-Organized Materials 2008" and included the 7th Korean-German Polymer Symposium (KG-PS). These symposia take place every two to three years at locations alternating between the two countries. The last one in the series was hosted at the IMTEK in 2005.
Prof. Kwang-Sup Lee and Tae-Dong Kim of Hannam University have organized an impressiv symposium and we are glad that we could add a little to this by taking care of the German participants of the KG-PS. We would like to acknowledge very helpful funding provided by the DFG and the KOSEF.
More information is available at the conference website: www.ic-psm08.kr
Here are some impressions collected during the conference and a very memorable tour sightseeing tour.
Dear Kwang-Sup, dear Tae-Dong: thank you very much for your efforts that made this trip both a scientifically as well as personally very enjoyable event.
