Danesh Ashouri

 

Danesh Ashouri´s research interest is further advancing the conventional deep brain stimulation technologies by introducing the multimodality features. Current topics he is pursuing are:

1. In vivo application of fast scan cyclic voltammetry (FSCV) for neurotransmitter detection in rat models.

2. Prototyping and evaluating novel electrode interfaces for in vivo biosensing applications.

3. Developing a hybrid multimodal deep brain stimulation probe for the advanced brain research.
