EandI SliderResearch

Dr.-Ing. Paul Čvančara leads the Electrodes and Interfaces Group. Our research focuses on advancing neural interfaces based on polyimide and silicone rubber in translational research. Thereby we are pursuing three approaches:

1. Improving the reliability and long-term stability of the interfaces with in vitro and in vivo testing methods, followed by in depth analysis using different approaches like FIB-SEM cross sectional imaging.

2. Implementing novel techniques to enhance existing assembly technologies.

3. Consideration of normative and regulatory aspects.
