Gerardo González-Cerdas

I studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Costa Rica, where I obtained my Bachelor’s degree, with emphasis in Electronics and Telecommunications, in 2008. Afterwards, I worked for Intel Corporation, in the Fault Isolation group in Costa Rica and the Component Debug group in Santa Clara, California.

Drawn by the multidisciplinary nature and modern relevance of MEMS, I started my postgraduate studies in Microsystems Engineering at IMTEK in 2014, with Biomedical Engineering and Optics and Photonics as my main concentration fields. On April 2016, I started working at the Bio- and Nano-Photonics chair, where I’m currently preparing my Master Thesis.
