MSc Mohammadmahdi Talebi

He received his BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology -Tehran Polytechnic (Iran) in 2012 and M.Sc. degree in microsystems engineering in 2016 from University of Freiburg. While pursuing his master's thesis, he was involved in the development of a microfluidic chip for photochemical applications with integrated electrical sensing elements.
Mohammadmahdi Talebi is currently a PhD student since May 2016 in the Department of Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK), University of Freiburg (Germany). His current research is focused on the monitoring of micro-evaporation processes using electrical-sensing methods.

He is a member of the "DFG Research Unit 2383 - (ProMiSe)" project which is a collaboration between KIT and university of Freiburg. The project started in 2016 and has successfully extended for the second phase until 2022. In this regard, group of design of microsystems is in close and active collaboration with KIT-ISTM and KIT-IMVT in this project. In this interdisciplinary project, we try to provide a platform for studying micro-flow using electrical sensing elements in addition to optical video recording. Of course, thermodynamics analysis of the boiling is the other critical aspect that we take into account and study.
