Dr. Witali Beichel


VitaDr. Witali Beichel

Dr. Witali Beichel studied from 2005 to 2009 chemistry at the Philipps-University Marburg. He finished his PhD studies in 2013 with summa cum laude at the University of Freiburg with Prof. Dr. Ingo Krossing working in the field of ionic liquids. After his PostDoc period at the KIT he returned to Freiburg and worked as group leader of the BASF Battery Materials Laboratory at the Freiburg Materials Research Center. There, his focus lied on electrolyte development for Lithium-Ion-Batteries (LIBs). Since August 2017 Dr. Witali Beichel is an independent researcher at the MEMS Laboratory at the Department of Microsystem Engineering. His current research interests are material development for LIBs and Post-LIB cell technologies.
