VitaTamara Härpfer

Tamara Härpfer studied biology (B.Sc. & M.Sc.) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) with a focus on molecular biology, genetics and botany. In her master thesis she investigated the molecular biological response of rice plants to abiotic stress factors. She finished her studies in the end of 2019 and started as a research assistant at the Laboratory for MEMS Applications (Prof. Zengerle) in the Nucleic Acid Analysis group in 2020. She is working on the development of isothermal DNA amplification methods for the detection of pathogens and the integration of assays into Lab-on-a-Chip-systems.
