Since 2017: MSc. Sustainable Materials – Polymer Science student at the University of Freiburg (Germany) and University of Strasbourg (France) (binational program). Intern at Institute of Microsystems Engineering IMTEK–Sensors & Freiburg Materials Research Center FMF, University of Freiburg; and at Ingénierie de Matériaux Polymères (IMP), Claude Bernard University of Lyon 1, working on chitosan fiber spinning R&D.
2015-2016: Product Engineer at Cummins, Inc (USA) working on the design validation and mechanical development of Diesel Fuel Systems, Electronic Hardware Integration & Controls for high horsepower diesel engines.
2013-2015: Product Development Engineer at Tyco TE Connectivity (Mexico) working in the implementation of fiber optics processing and splicing.
2012: Estefany Bentley obtained her bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juarez (Mexico). She studied at the Institute National des Sciences Appliquées, INSA Lyon, France and was Intern in Process Efficiency Engineering at Gemalto, France. She was an Honorary Researcher at the Polymer Engineering Center, University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA) where she worked on computational fluid dynamics of polymer resins. Her bachelor’s thesis focused on design of experiments DOE application for polymer processing optimization.
