Vita

Malika Louback was born in 1995 in Djibouti, Republic of Djibouti. 2013-2015 she studied Industrial Engineering and Maintenance at the Claude Bernard University of Lyon 1, France for which she was award a Higher National Diploma in 2015. Afterwards, she was Intern on applied geophysics at Soldata Geophysics in Maidstone, United Kingdom. She prepared training kits for new technicians to simulate the installation and cabling of monitoring sensors such as vibrating wire strain gage and vibrating wire crackmeter to connect them to a data logging systems. After the two years of Engineering studies at the University of Lyon 1, she pursued studies in BSc. in Physics at the University of Saint-Etienne, France. In 2016, she started her MSc. in Materials and Surface Engineering at Polytech Lyon.  Her formation aimed at acquiring skills to consider the links between the elaboration processes, the microstructure and the properties of materials for optimizing their performance. Since September 2017, she is a Master intern at the University of Freiburg, Institute of Microsystems Engineering IMTEK, Laboratory for Sensors, working in the development and characterization of composite hydrogels and fibers for biomedical applications.
