Anthony Lavoine

Anthony Lavoine was awarded a Natural and Exact Sciences Abitur in 2013 in France. From 2013 to 2016, he studied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering Sciences in ‘Preparatory Studies’ at Military High School of Autun (France), to prepare for competitive exams to enrol at Engineering Schools in France. He was then admitted at the Engineering School Polytech Lyon, Claude Bernard University of Lyon 1, France, where she followed a three-year Master curriculum specialized in Materials and Surface Engineering. It aims at acquiring skills to take into account the links between the elaboration processes, the microstructure and the properties of materials to optimize their performance. Since September 2017, he is a Master intern at the University of Freiburg, Institute of Microsystems Engineering IMTEK, Laboratory for Sensors, whose work focuses in the development and microstructural characterization of biomaterials by synchrotron X-ray scattering.
