Projects
Development and modelling of a hybrid energy system with improved power management methods to improve reliability and availability
Project description
Self-sufficient and autonomous energy systems usually have one energy source and one energy storage. This works looks at possibilities to improve reliability and availability of hybrid energy systems, by simulation and building up demonstrator hardware. The system has to adapt to given environmental circumstances and is changing its service to reach a kind of “energy awareness”. Studies and simulations are evaluating the decision making strategies of controlling the energy flow to different storages.
