Projects
Pyroelectric Energy Harvester - Research training group 1322
Project description
Energy-autonomous systems derive the electrical power necessary for their operation from sources such as ambient heat, light or vibrations. Pyroelectric energy harvesters, for example, can directly generate electrical energy with a high efficiency via gradients in temperature. Pyroelectric materials are often used in motion sensors to provide a switching signal from the incoming heat radiation.
