Dr. Michael Jehle

Head of Lab-on-a-Chip Scale-up group


Michael Jehle studied chemistry at Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg. After he successfully finished his studies in 2010, he prepared his PhD studies in the group of Mrs. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Röhr (Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg) where he investigated intermetallic phases via X-ray diffraction and performed quantum chemical calculations. From January 2015 to September 2017, he was a research scientist at IMTEK (Laboratory for MEMS applications) in the group “Non-contact Microdosage”. Beyond working on scientific questions, he was responsible for acquisition and lead of projects together with industrial participants. In October 2017 he became associate head of Lab-on-a-Chip Scale-up group, which he leads since May 2019 at Hahn-Schickard-Gesellschaft für angewandte Forschung e.V.
