Bucherer Persönliche Webseite
Andreas Bucherer studied Microsystems Engineering in Freiburg from October 2015 until June 2021. On the way to his bachelor's degree, he started to work as a student assistant at the Design of Microsystems Laboratory (KVM). His main focus was on cleanroom processes.
During his bachelor thesis he developed flexible heater structures for e-cigarettes with polyimide coating.
For the master thesis, still at KVM chair, he improved the temperature stability and range of capacitive force sensors, developed at KVM, towards 500 °C.
In July 2021 he began his employment at the Microsystem Materials Laboratory on flexible LED-based implants for optogenetic applications.
