Eric Klein
CV / Former activities
Eric Klein studied Microsystem Engineering (BSc) at the University of Freiburg from 2009 until 2012. In his bachelor thesis he invented connector systems for electrocorticograph electrodes and worked on parylene C electrodes as well. In 2012 he started his studies in the master program in Microsystem Engineering also at the University of Freiburg. He focused on optoelectronics, sensors and actuators and finished in 2014 with his master thesis about bonding micro-LEDs for optical cochlear implants at the Chair for Optoelectronics in cooperation with the Microsystem Materials Laboratory (MML), Department of Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK). Since 2015 he is working at the MML on the process development for optical cochlear implants.
