Vita Lisa Becherer

Lisa Becherer studied chemistry (B.Sc. & M.Sc.) at the University of Freiburg with a focus on physical chemistry. She finished her master's degree in 2015 with her master thesis on EPR spectroscopic investigations of spin-spin interactions on DNA-aptamer complexes.
In 2016, she started with her PhD at the Laboratory for MEMS Applications (Prof. Zengerle) in the Nucleic Acid Analysis group and completed her doctoral thesis in May 2020 on the topic "Mediator displacement LAMP: A novel method for universal sequence-specific detection of isothermal nucleic acid amplification". Since 2019, Lisa Becherer has also been working as a research assistant at Hahn-Schickard and continues to work on the development and validation of an isothermal method for the simultaneous detection of multiple pathogens, as well as on the integration of assays on centrifugal-microfluidic test carriers.
