Florian Fahrbach

PhD student in the Lab for Bio- and Nanophotonics

Florian Fahrbach was born in Munich and came to Freiburg to study physics and Economic Policy as subsidiary subject.
In 2004/2005 he spent a year in London at Imperial College.
Since October 2006 he is working in the group for Bio- and Nanophotonics at IMTEK. In April 2008 he finished his diploma thesis titled "Microscopy with self-reconstructing beams". As a PhD-Student, first in the framework of bioss and a cooperation with Carl Zeiss and then funded by PhotonicsBW he now investigates microscopy of strongly scattering media.
