Simone Staack was working as Chemical-Technical Assistant at the LAVES in Braunschweig until 2001. After acquiring a subject-specific University entrance qualification by evening school she studied Biotechnology at the TU Braunschweig. Her diploma thesis was the „Selection of open reading frames from Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae with the help of hyperphage.“ During the following years she was working on her doctoral thesis with the topic „Production and Validation of a combinatorial phagemid library and Selection of Ligands against various immobilized target-proteins (CD28; NS3/4A). From March 2011 until April 2020 she was working as Analytical Service Manager at Eurofins GeneScan. She gave advice to international customers in relation to PCR based analysis of genetically modified organisms in food and feed samples. She created certificates with the results and was responsible amongst other things for several sales acitivities.
Since June 2020 she has been working at the laboratory management of Hahn-Schickard.
